Frequently asked questions

The place you go to answer the question, "What should we do tonight?" We are Kingston's guide to events and specials happening today, tomorrow, or whenever! Browse and filter to your liking; save and get notified of the Happenings you want to attend. For those associated with a venue or hosting an event, create an organizer account and start posting (for free!)

You don't need an account to browse listings and all accounts are free to use and post.

Event-Goer: For those who want to save Happenings and get notified when they're coming up. Artists or individual promoters who are not associated with a specific venue can use this account to promote events/specials. All listings submitted need admin approval in this account.

Organizer: For those associated with a venue or set group of venues - owners, marketing/social media managers etc. Sign up and select the venues you are connected with. Manage your venue's details and submit listings. All listings submitted need admin approval in this account.

Verified Organizer: Once you're an organizer, submit a request to become verified. Edit your venue's details and post listings without needing admin approval. Misuse of Verified Organizer accounts can lead to account suspension.

Sign in and choose Submit an event. We review every submission before it goes live, usually within a day or two.

If we have a note for you, you’ll find it under My Submissions, where you can edit and resubmit.

In the sign up page, click "Organizer" and fill in your contact information (preferably your work email/number). Enter the venue(s) you're associated with and confirm your email address. Once your account has been verified by an admin, you can add details about your venue(s) and start posting. This shouldn't take longer than 1-2 business days. All listings need admin approval. To skip this step, request to become a Verified Organizer under the "My Account" tab.
